Week 16 - Started Computer!

We finished cleaning up our wiring with zip ties and turned them on for the first time

Week 15 - Wiring

We started wiring our computer

• Plugged Power into Motherboard, CD-Rom, Fans and Hard Drive
• Connected CD-ROM and Hard Drive to Motherboard
• Connected Front Buttons to Motherboard (Power, Reset, LEDs)
• Connected Front USB and Audio cables to Motherboard
• Cleaned up wiring using Zip Ties
  

Week 14 - CPU and RAM

We put in CPU (Intel Processors) and Memory (RAM)

• Opened Box with Chip
• We read directions
• Took off plastic protector on slot in motherboard
• Opened Slot on Motherboard for Chip to set in
• We took Chip out of plastic
  
• We put Chip in Slot (lined up Notches and locked cover)
• We put in Heat Sink Fan
• We locked Fan to Mother board and plugged into mobo

We put in Memory (Ram) in our computer as well

We installed our Mother Boards in our Cases

Week 12 - Put in Hard Drives & DVD Roms

We put in hard drives and dvd drives in our new computers
